Mind to taste Posted on August 27th, 2010 by

At the Association for Psychological Science 22nd Annual Convention, Linda Bartoshuk was interviewed by Carol Tavris.  They covered a wide-range of topics, including how she chose her career, how she discovered supertasters, and the connection between taste perception and health.  Watch the complete interview or read the summary on the APS website.

In addition, during the convention’s Presidential Symposium, Linda Bartoshuk conducted a sensory test, having the audience taste strawberries and lemons before and after eating a tablet of dried miracle fruit.  She used this demonstration to talk about magnitude scales, supertasters, and the perception of sweetness.  What will she do at the Nobel Conference?
